The corporate shave

So I have a slight sweet tooth (a lie, it’s huge) and hit the local supermarket for the latest choc quick fix. I hit the chocolate aisle and was greeted by Cadbury’s latest attempt to con us into paying the same for less, something that vendors have been doing across multiple product lines for years.

On this occasion Cadbury’s has shaved another 15g from the chocolate block, this was entirely evident as one of the older blocks was on sale beside it and fuller figured, whilst this newer diet sized, emaciated block was adjacent and clearly out of place.

The irony the smaller block includes the words “more” … hmmm 🤔

Given their newer block size this can hardly be considered a family block any longer surely? Or is that the modern 1-kid family version haha 😂 so one row removed now. If they add “share” to the name as Nestlé have done to some KitKat bars (yeah, ain’t happening anytime soon) then that’s me done.
