The day started with great news, a letter from my university advising I had completed my Graduate Diploma studies. I have been waiting for this to come through as well as my grades sheet so I could apply to another university to undertake a second Graduate Diploma.
Anxious to get things underway and apply I opened my MacBook Pro to access the university’s website and begin my application; it wouldn’t connect to our wi-fi network. Some effort later I managed to get it to connect, then browsers wouldn’t access websites. This only seems to have occurred since moving away from Kaspersky then to BitDefender and now McAfee and NordVPN.
Browsers fixed, it was an up and down afternoon fighting with them losing connectivity. I’m getting a sense I’ll need to wipe the Mac and reinstall everything to have it work without these issues. That said, when I used my Surface Pro 8 to begin the application process i had to use the Pixel as a hotspot internet connection as it too was experiencing issues connecting to the University website.
Might do well to throw out the router I think, it has been very temperamental.
