I caved to the Max

To quote Britney Spears “Oops, I did it again”, and have caved to my technology cravings, purchasing myself a nice shiny iPhone 12 Pro Max. Unlike previous iPhone orders, this time I have actually purchased the phone outright, along with the MagSafe clear case and adapter, oh and begrudgingly a 20w USB-C adapter that they don’t provide me with but is required.

What was the clincher? What sealed the deal? I love taking photos with my iPhone and the improved camera within the iPhone 12 Pro Max over the iPhone 12 Pro, even though essentially one lens, it made considering it worthwhile. I am also hoping the extra (mammoth) size will make banging out the texts and WordPress posts easier than it currently is on the smaller phone. I can justify anything, can you tell.

Another reason I’m actually attracted to this year’s Pro models was the inclusion of MagSafe, not just for power but also for accessories. My recent trip to the south of the state I relied upon a cradle that was ill suited to my older iPhone X, as I drove along it fell out of the cradle and below my legs. This morning I noticed Belkin had released a MagSafe Car Vent Mount, I look forward to seeing what other vendors produce for this connector.

Can’t wait for my new phone to arrive in just over a week. Now to list the old ones on eBay, the last thing I need is three phones!
