Since September I’ve been dealing with a weird sudden intolerance to dairy and allergy to almonds. I’ve no idea why this has occurred, but am navigating these waters so to speak.
I discovered my allergy to almonds only through testing almond milk, though strangely I used to eat these by the handful. Yet in drinking the milk it tasted strange, my hands and face itched the first few days, then on the third day my tongue started to join the party too.
Since then I’ve discovered these pills called lacteeze that allow me to consume milk, however I’m wondering if symptoms I’m experiencing now are a result of consuming milk?
The past week I’ve been itching on my arms, legs and face. It’s nothing serious, thankfully, just annoying at this stage. I’ve bought Cetophil moisturiser tonight from my pharmacist, hopefully moisturising my skin will help. I would have bought anti-histamines tonight, but discovered the all contained lactose. A small amount admittedly, maybe it’s not worthy of consideration?
