Today wasrelease day for the new versions of iOS 14 and iPadOS 14. This finally means all my devices old and new are using the same release software. I’m trialing scribble once more within the WordPress app, when last I used this about 5-6 weeks ago I think the experience was fraught with the need to constantly go back and fix things up, insert words here and there that it had misunderstood. Today, scribble has yet to get a single thing incorrect, I am seriously impressed.
The upgrade from iOS 13 to iOS 14 couldn’t have come soon enough for me, I always found the former to have issues of one kind or another. I just hope this release is the one that focuses upon quality and isn’t about impressing the marketing team.
Sadly, macOS wasn’t amongst those released to the wild yesterday, we must wait a little while longer for the first version on macOS xi. I have been experiencing issues in the past month with my MacBook Pro when booting up, however when I perform hardware and disk checks supplied by Apple neither returns any faults whatsoever. Still, it is a little disconcerting to have your machine experience issues and knowing Apple plans to migrate to an entirely different chipset for its Macs. I am reluctant to invest in a Mac until those ARM Macs are shipping as I don’t want a paper weight. Apple, kindly hurry for my up sakes.
