A recent update to both iOS for my iPhone 11 Pro and Apple Watch 5 has had unintended consequences. Now, I am regularly getting the red Phone symbol atop my watch screen indicating my Apple Watch is unable to communicate with my iPhone. The only solution I’ve found to date has been to restart the iPhone, then the two devices again pair with one another.

There also appears to be an issue with Bluetooth in recent releases, the COVIDSafe app released by the Australian government, used to track who we come into contact with in these wonderful times, recently reported Bluetooth was required for the app to function. I checked my phone to be sure, it wasn’t turned off.
I hope when iOS 14 eventually arrives it brings with it greater stability and quality, iOS 13 certainly has not proven to be either.
