Just finished watching Chris Evans’ Defending Jacob on Apple TV, certainly one of the best offerings available on the service. It revolves around the murder of a high school student which comes to be blamed upon the son of Evans’ character, who does everything to not help himself throughout the eight episode season.
The first season follows Evans’ character, who works as a lawyer in the district attorneys department, and initially assigned the case until his son is accused. Then, he must do all he can to protect his son, but doors he go to far? This show is great as it shows how the family suffers the loss of support of their network, and becomes isolated whilst trying to clear their son, yet must try to clear any doubt they themselves have off whether he may have committed the crime.
Very much enjoyed this first season, it’s certainly one of the best shows on offer on Apple TV+ and worth you’re checking out.
