Walking off Easter

How was Easter for you? Did you chocolate too excess as I did? I managed three hazelnut Lindt bunnies, two milk chocolate Lindt bunnies and a Ferrero Rocher squirrel, all this in just one week, oh my. I did show at least some restraint in that I didn’t have a single hot cross bun this year, at least that’s something.

For my penance I hit the pavement yesterday and today walking over 11km each day, hitting over 14,500 steps. In reliably informed by our wonderful wellness coordinator at work that each day’s effort should’ve equates to two bunnies, I hope so. So, my remaining debt remains at two bunnies now.

Hopefully in 2021, I will learn restraint with chocolate and COVID-19 will definitely be a thing of the past for us all.
