After health issues plagued me at the close of 2018, I saw significant change in 2019 with my now being a good deal lighter. With losing much weight this year my wallet too got quite a workout as I bought and replaced so much clothing. I have donated over fourteen large bags of clothing to charities in the past nine months, some I’d worn barely a few months before they too were being bagged.
As I approach my goal weight of course losses slow down, thus I have sought to motivate myself through a regular exercise program. Years ago I had first attempted the Michelle Bridges 12 Week Body Transformation program; at the time I was a good deal heavier than I am now and it was hard work, I completed most of the program with exception the final three weeks. I was quite impressed with my efforts at the time, managing planking, push ups and other forms of exercise I had never performed before, I typically only walked.
I re-attempted the program several times, however my second and third attempts I faltered and gave up early on, I was bitterly disappointed in myself.
I am again going to re-attempt the program and this time with mix both outdoor and gym workouts to see how I go; in previous attempts I only attempted outdoor workouts. I’m excited to get started on January 6, 2020, it’s a new decade, a new year and the continued path to the new me.
I hope our new year and decade brings you great things. My other hope focuses on the fires in the east of my country, Australia. These have been burning relentlessly now for weeks with loss of life, loss of homes and businesses. I hope for rain to quench these fires and common sense for the politicians who have lead to fire brigades having funding reduced and back burning not being conducted where it is so necessary.
