Needless to say, my second day in Bali fared better than did my first, no messing up drivers today as none were involved. After breakfast was had, I headed off to the Thalasso spa on-site for the spa package treatment I’d booked last week.
After completing all the paperwork, choosing which oil I preferred for my massage, which massage I wished, and choosing the chocolate scrub, I was off. First off was the hydro spa. After a few minutes laying here the therapist then proceeded to use a massage jet all over my body, heck that tickled the hell out of me.
After that was done it was on to the massage. The oil I could barely smell was now so much more evident and smelt heavenly. Next was the chocolate scrub, as she began doing this I thought to myself it was a poor choice for a guy with a hairy chest, and it was, she really had to work to scrub that off of me. That said, if you ever get the chance to have a chocolate scrub, do it, it felt amazing. I did have a desire to lick my fingers, a human Easter egg as I were. My spa treatment concluded with a peppermint wrap and head massage, I felt pretty good after 2.5 hours at the spa.
Food
My spa treatment completed I returned to my room, changed and after a bit headed out for something for lunch. I settled on grilled salmon and vegetables whilst sat by the ocean, it’s hard to beat the combination. To enhance my mood I added to mojito, and they didn’t shrimp on the serving.

For dinner tonight I partook in Indian cuisine, and so glad I did too. For mains I had Punjabi Bhuna Gosht, a lovely lamb dish with garlic, onion, yogurt and chillies.

For dessert I had Gajar Halwa, an Indian Carrot Pudding. This was sweet, but not in a bad way, I really enjoyed its taste and would happily order this again, it has a subtle taste to it.

Well, has been a long day, back in my room and in need on a bath to wash the day away. Time to use some of those bath salts the resort provided.
